Registration

Techvision collects certain aggregate data called Web log information for statistical purposes and uses cookies when you visit some of our Web pages. Techvision uses cookies when you register as a Techvision customer to store a unique, random user ID. Neither passwords nor customer personal information is stored in the cookies by our servers. However some of the advanced options may not be available or features that were designed to help you while navigating through our site may be disabled. By setting a cookie on our site, users would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If users reject the cookie, they may still use our site. The only drawback to this is that the user will be limited in some areas of our site. For example, the user will not be able to participate in any of our sweepstakes, contests or monthly drawings that may take place. We employ a software technology called clear gifs, that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. We send all new members a welcoming email to verify password and username. Established members will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Techvision believes that it’s especially important to protect children’s privacy online and encourages parents and guardians to spend time online with their children to participate and monitor their Internet activity. Techvision respects all applicable national and international children’s privacy regulations, to the best of our knowledge and abilities. All site content is constantly and carefully monitored and is clasified as safe to be viewed or read by children of any age.

Security

We will use commercially reasonable methods to keep personally identifiable information securely in our files and systems. When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL.
